MJM are thrilled to be involved with several new retail projects throughout the UK for The Crown Estate. In the North East, the £30m rejuvenation of the Travelodge site opposite Silverlink Shopping Park converts the former hotel site into a new 106,000sqft retail scheme. With planning consent granted and tender drawings complete, the project is due to start on site in summer 2015. The substantial road improvements providing a new access to the redeveloped site, as well as to the existing shopping park and Cobalt Business Park, have been designed in house by our specialist Highways Team and will eventually link in to the proposed works on the A19. Other current Crown Estate projects include Aintree Shopping Park in Liverpool, The Coliseum Retail Park in Cheshire Oaks, Fosse Shopping Park in Leicester and Queensgate Retail Park Harlow.
