Conversion and extension of existing industrial unit to form 100,000 sqft automated home shopping distribution centre for Asda. The project included installation of a 7,000 sqft storage mezzanine and elevated fully automated conveyor system. The building is located over an old refuse tip resulting in the existing and new structures and ground slabs being fully piled and protected by under slab gas membrane and active gas extraction system.
