Yorkshire Bank, Wakefield

This project was completed for CDP/Marshalls and involved the demolition of a life expired office/retail building with the listed facade extensively renovated and incorporated into the re-constructed bank premises.

The conversion of this former office into 20,000sqft of modern retail space occupied by Marks & Spencer was completed for Charterhall properties.

Territorial Army Centre, Bootle

3 storey TA centre comprising accommodation, offices, sports hall, armoury and rifle range. In addition, there was a vehicle maintenance garage and separate cadet training centre. Robust slabs (both external an internal to the garage) were required due to the type of vehicles used by the MOD. The design of a particular elevation had to accommodate the potential for terrorist attack.

Leeds Bradford International Airport

The £7.0m third phase of the re-development of the airport was completed to provide new international arrivals and baggage handling facilities together with a new elevated airside walkway linking to the earlier Phases I and II departure facilities.

Primary Healthcare Centre, Lower Wortley Leeds

Four storey steel framed medical facility with complex envelope on a restricted site. The building was required to present a striking landmark and to accommodate the latest medical innovations as well as being energy efficient. The site is bounded by a main river and the works included extensive piling, bank retention and flood protection.

Crown Point North, Denton

350,000 sq ft non-food retail park. Site assembly included re-construction off-site of a paper processing factory, pharmacy, doctors surgery and church. The main contract included extensive demolition, site remediation and major earthworks operations.

St Davids, Bangor

This 70,000sqft Non Food Retail & leisure development adjacent to Bangor town centre is another key project for Morbaine.
