Group Chairman

John is a Chartered Structural Engineer and Board Director of MJM Consulting Engineers with over 30 years experience within the construction industry. He is a 'hands-on' engineer still undertaking structural designs in all materials but with director responsibilities for the technical excellence of a team of engineers and technicians engaged in Civil and Structural Engineering design in addition to client liaison and business development.

Managing Director

Michelle has over 25 years experience working as a chartered consultant engineer on a wide variety of construction projects from conception right through to completion. Michelle’s particular expertise is in the design of large distribution warehouses and industrial production buildings. She has had wide experience of fast track projects within the logistics sector, regularly developing design details to facilitate faster construction without compromising on quality. Her enthusiastic and innovative approach to design enables us to rapidly produce high quality, cost effective solutions.

As a chartered engineer with 25 years experience, Andy has expertise in a number of educational developments and PFI schemes along with retail, industrial and residential projects. He also leads MJM’s SER certification process for Scottish schemes.

Dominic has worked in the construction industry for over 12 years and is a chartered engineer who leads a team of civil and structural engineers and technicians. Dominic has built excellent relationships with many of our long standing clients including Asda, GLP, Hawkstone and Lidl. His attention to detail and technical knowledge regularly leads to both time and cost savings across projects. Dominic’s team work across a variety of sectors with current projects including 2 new retail parks, 3 new food stores, a large residential housing site and several multi storey modular build schools.

Alan is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the structural design of all major materials along with civil engineering in the form of drainage, retaining walls and earthworks. Alan is responsible for the resourcing and coordination of a team of engineers and technicians in order to ensure that the teams output meets both technical and programme requirements.

Matt is an Associate Director and a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the assessment and technical design of many types of building structure covering a vast array of sizes and project value. He also holds Certified membership of the Association for Project Safety, adding an important safety angle to his consideration when reviewing a design. Matt leads a team of engineers and technicians ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality, on time and within budget. He is a key client facing contact but still very much a hands-on engineer.

Head of Highways and Infrastructure

Chris has specialised in civil and infrastructure engineering for his whole career designing both adoptable and private drainage and highway networks. Chris progressed his career to his current role through multiple prominent engineering practices with different specialisms. This has afforded him the opportunity to work on a large variety of schemes both in the public and private sectors. With over 23 years, he now leads a team of engineers and technicians taking projects from inception through to completion.
